ORLANDO, FLORIDA MARCH 12th - 14th, 2010
Orlando is a world-class destination with so much to do that every member of your group can have fun in their own way! From morning until night, a visit to the International Drive resort area is non-stop excitement for the entire family. New attractions at the major theme parks, expanded accommodations, dining experiences, shopping and family entertainment give guests a reason to visit this area again and again.
GETTING HERE Orlando International Airport (MCO) has the second-lowest fares of the top 30 U.S. airports. Forty-nine airlines offer nonstop service to 69 cities with direct service to more than 100 cities nationwide. The airport is just 20 minutes away from the Orange County Convention Center on I-Drive.
COMPETITION FACILITY The Orange County Convention Center is presently the second largest in the country, featuring 7 million square feet of meeting, exhibition and public space - making it the perfect venue for a cheer and dance tournament like the Open! This Nationals trip is one to be remembered, with state-of-the-art production elements, elevated spectator seating or elevated performance stages, and a warm-up room that feature a full-size SPRING Floor and double-wide spring tumbe strips!

MOVING YOUR SQUAD AROUND Use the convenient I-RIDE Trolley service to visit the exciting attractions on I-Drive. This convenient cost-saving way to travel on the Drive allows you to enjoy your stay in Orlando.
COMPETITION AMENITIES
Upon arriving at the convention center, your first stop will be Championship Check-In, where your Championship Ambassador will provide you with event credentials, final paperwork and answer any questions you may have. Then, one hour before your performance time, you'll be directed to the spacious Warm-Up Area, where you'll be granted access to a stretching station, a 70-foot spring tumble strip and a full-size floor for practice. Next, you'll take center stage in the Performance Hall, which will feature an elevated performance stage or elevated spectator seating, state-of-the-art production elements and digitally-integrated sound so you can rock the house! Finally, after exiting the stage, your team will be personally escorted to a Private Replay Booth, where they can view their award-winning routine and receive thier National Championship commemorative gifts.
EXCITING PRODUCTION LEVEL At every American Championships Event, we combine the elements of light, sound and non-stop action to create a fantastic competition atmosphere. Our computer-integrated digital sound fills the arena while our exciting light show keeps the action moving between teams. Event staff members throw out thousands of sets of Mardi Gras beads while streamer cannons explode during our Awards Ceremonies. We roll out the red carpet - literally - when your teams come forward to accept what are considered by most to be the largest and nicest trophies in the industry. At the American Championships we produce only high energy, exciting events!
OLYMPIC-STYLE AWARD STAGES At our events, we bring the top 3 teams onto large platforms to celebrate and shine in the spotlight. This gives teams a chance to enjoy their accomplishment and for parents to step forward and take pictures of their winning team!
