HOW TO REGISTER
Simply follow the steps below for the cheer & dance experience of a lifetime...

1.  Choose the package that best fits your team's needs (see above). Please keep in mind that only teams living in the Las Vegas area can attend The Grand on the Local Package.

2.  Completely fill out the Registration Form: Registration Form - there is no online registration for The Grand. Teams traveling on package must also fill out the Rooming List and Travel Form located in the Registration Form.

3.  Mail or Fax your completed registration form, along with a $35 per-person deposit, to The American Championships offices by October 9th 2009.  The final balance is due
November 6th, 2009.

REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION
Once a team's registration for the American Grand has been processed, the contact person will receive a Confirmation Email with an Invoice and a Performance Summary attached. If you do not receive this confirmation within two weeks of submitting your registration AND payment, please call 800-462-8294 Ext. 119 immediately.
Additionally, an “Info You Need To Know” Packet will be e-mailed to the Contact Person just prior to the event. This packet will include an American Grand Checklist, Order of Performance, FAQ, Arena Layout Map, Spectator Information, etc.
 

FAMILY, FRIEND AND SPECTATOR ARRANGEMENTS
Family, friends and spectators should consider buying one of these packages with their team, as this will help to ensure they will stay in a room with their team. All packages (except Local) include hotel stays, admission into all performances and airport transfers. The MGM Grand often sells out, and event tickets cannot be purchased in advance. Therefore, the convenience of these packages saves spectators time and money. Please give information about these package opportunities to all members of your traveling party – by doing so you will give them the opportunity to enjoy everything the American Grand has to offer. 

Note: Everyone wishing to stay in a particular room block must make arrangements together, as a group, with ONE contact person.  Once registration has been sent, all changes must be made in writing by the contact person, and no changes may be made after November 2nd, 2009. This does not guarantee that all rooms will be together, but it does give you the best chance of successfully grouping rooms together.

PACKAGES & TRANSPORTATION
  Package prices do not include airfare or incidentals at the hotels.

•  Shuttle bus, airport transfers and hotel arrangements are pre-arranged and based on the travel information we are given.  We are not responsible for cancelled flights or any other unforeseen changes to your travel plans due to inclement weather or any other reason.  We will, however, make every effort to help you should your travel plans change.  In the event these changes prevent your party or any subset from attending, no refunds will be granted.

•  Las Vegas casino rules require that one adult chaperone be placed in every room.

•  In certain circumstances, other comparable hotels may need to be used as overflow accommodations.

•  Please Note:  Some quad rooms may consist of a king bed/sleeper sofa and some triple rooms may consist of king bed/rollaway.  We will make every effort to block your group together in the hotel on one floor, However, due to hotel layout, this may not always be possible.  We are not responsible if circumstances arise and your group is not all together.

•  Each team will receive one airport pick-up and one airport drop-off only.  Teams will be met by a championship representative in the baggage claim area of their airline and be escorted to their motor coach or shuttle.

•  All individual participants travleing separate from the team will be responsible for their own transfer to and from the airport.

•  Spectator packages do not include airport transfers, except when traveling on team's flight.

•  For return flights, teams should meet in the designated pick up area (generally the hotel lobby) 2 hours prior to their flight departure time.  Exact meeting times for your return flight will be provided to the coach at Championship Check-In.

•  All airport pick-ups will be on December 17th and 18th and all airport drop-offs will be on Decmber 20th and 21st, according to package.  There will be no airport transfers on Saturday, December 19th or before 8 pm on Sunday, December 20th.  Should you need transfers during times other than the allotted times, your group will be responsible for the planning and associated cost of those transfers.

•  If traveling on a basic or standard package, please pay close attention to suggested arrival and departure times (see packages.)  This will allow your team to:  1) have some practice time before the competition and 2) complete the final round and attend your award ceremony, which may extend into the evening on Sunday the 20th.

REFUND POLICY
There are no refunds on deposits for any reason.  For a refund (less all deposits), notice of cancellation must be received in writing at The American Championships offices by November 6th, 2009.  There are no refunds after the balance due date has passed.
